(Picture Archiving and Communication System)
PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) is a digital system used by radiologists to store, retrieve, and distribute medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. With PACS, radiologists can view images on their computers, annotate them, and share them with other healthcare professionals. This system also provides a secure and efficient way to store patient images and data, reducing the need for physical storage space and making it easier to access patient records. By using PACS, radiologists can quickly access and analyze patient images, leading to faster diagnosis and treatment planning.
