A Few Words About Us
All of our physicians are board-certified Diagnostic Radiologists and have done additional subspecialty training in different areas of Radiology. Our Radiologists hold staff appointments at Mackenzie Health Hospital, Southlake Regional Health Centre, and Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital where advanced Imaging such as CT and MRI are also performed. When you require further specialized imaging at any of these hospitals, i.e. CT or MRI, one of our X-Ray Associates Radiologists will be protocolling and interpreting your examination. They have access to all of your previous imaging from our clinics.
Vik Agarwal, MD CCFP FRCP(C)
Dr. Agarwal received his M.D. from Western University and completed his radiology residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Toronto. His areas of interest include medical informatics, dialysis intervention as well as oncologic Imaging. Prior to joining X-Ray Associates in 2021, Dr. Agarwal served as a staff radiologist at Niagara Health and as an Assistant Professor at McMaster University.
Bilal Ahmed, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Bilal Ahmed has joined X-Ray Associates, March 1, 2021. Dr. Ahmed completed his MD, Master of Health Science in Bioethics and Radiology Residency at the University of Toronto. Dr. Ahmed also completed an Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at the University of California.
Hisham Al-Shikarchy, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Al-Shikarchy received his M.D. from McMaster University and then completed his radiology residency at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. He joined X-Ray Associates in September 2021 following completion of fellowship training in body/abdominal imaging and cardiovascular imaging at Stanford University in California. His areas of interest include abdominal imaging as well as cardiac CT and MRI.
Philip Buckler, MD, FRCP(C), DABR
Dr. Buckler received his M.D. and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Body Imaging and MRI at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. His areas of interest include abdominal imaging, MRI and cardiovascular imaging. Dr. Buckler has been with X-Ray Associates since 2009.
Faisal Budhani, MD, FRCP(C), DABR
Dr. Budhani received his M.D. From McMaster University. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed an MRI Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine. His areas of interest include thoracic, abdominal, pelvic and musculoskeletal imaging. Prior to joining X-Ray Associates in 2014, Dr. Budhani served as a staff radiologist in the Body and MSK imaging divisions at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC where he also served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology.
Raymond Chan, MD, FRCP(C), DABR
Dr. Chan received his M.D. and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Toronto. His areas of interest lie in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Prior to joining X-Ray Associates in 2007, Dr. Chan served on staff at St. Michael's Hopsital as an Interventional Radiologist from 2001 to 2007 and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto from 2004-2007.
Jonathan Chung, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Jonathan Chung has joined X-Ray Associates, January, 2021. Dr. Chung completed his MD at Dalhousie University. Dr. Chung completed his Radiology and a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Western University.
Peter De Maio, MBBS, FRCP(C)
Dr. De Maio received his medical degree from the University of Sydney, Australia. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at University of Toronto followed by additional Fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Toronto. His areas of interest include Image Guided Therapy and Vascular Imaging. Dr. De Maio has been with X-Ray Associates since 2014.
Gary Hochman, MD, FRCP(C), DABR
Dr. Hochman received his M.D. from the University of Manitoba and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Ultrasound at Mount Sinai Hospital. His areas of interest lie in Body Imaging. Dr. Hochman has been with X-Ray Associates since 1989.
Fred Lan, MD, FRCP(C), DABR
Dr. Lan received his M.D. and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at St. Michael's Hospital. His areas of interest lie in Interventional Radiology (including Uterine Fibroid Embolization, Angioplasty, Vascular Stenting) and Cardiovascular Imaging (CT). Dr. Lan as been with X-Ray Associates since 2004.
Noel B. Langhorne, MD, FRCP(C), DABR
Dr. Langhorne received his M.D. from Queen's University and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at St. Michael's Hospital. His areas of interest lie in Vascular Imaging. Dr. Langhorne has been with X-Ray Associates since 2000.
Peter Law, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Law received his M.D. from the University of Ottawa and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at McMaster University. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Body Imaging at St. Michael's Hospital. His areas of interest lie in MRI, Cardiac MRI, and Body CT. Dr. Law has been with X-Ray Associates since 2005.
D. Ly, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Ly received his M.D. from the University of Toronto and completed his residency in Diagnostic Imaging.
Gevork Mnatzakanian, MD, FRCP(C), DABR
Dr. Mnatzakanian received his M.D. from the University of Toronto and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard University, Boston. Prior to joining X-Ray Associates, Dr. Mnatzakanian served as a staff radiologist in the Abdominal division at St. Michael's Hospital and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. His areas of interest include MRI, abdominal and pelvic imaging.
Philip Mok, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Mok received his M.D. from McMaster University and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Toronto, and is dual-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. His areas of interest include Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT and Oncologic Imaging. Prior to joining X-Ray Associates in 2019, Dr. Mok served as a staff radiologist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto.
Vince Partap, MD, CM, FRCP(C)
Dr. Partap received his M.D. from the University of Ottawa and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at McGill University. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Toronto. His interests lie in Uterine Fibroid Embolization, Kyphoplasty and Vertebral Augmentation. Dr. Partap has been with X-Ray Associates since 2002.
Emmad Qazi, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Qazi received his MD from University of Calgary and residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto. He completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University Health Network in the University of Toronto. His interests include vascular and oncology intervention.
Mike Roth, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Roth has joined X-Ray Associates, March 1, 2021. Dr. Roth completed his MD, at the University of Alberta. Dr. Roth completed his Radiology at Western University and did a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at McMaster University.
Sidharth Saini, MD FRCP(C)
Dr. Saini completed his M.D. and Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Toronto. He then completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of Toronto. His interests include musculoskeletal intervention, sports imaging, and oncologic imaging.
Fateme Salehi, MD, MSc, FRCPC
Dr. Salehi received her MD from Queen's University and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Western University. She completed her Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Toronto. Her areas of interest include neuroradiology, including oncology and stroke imaging.
Erik Silmberg, MD, FRCP(C), DABR
Dr. Silmberg received his M.D. from the University of Toronto and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at McMaster University. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Body Imaging at St. Michael's Hospital. Dr. Silmberg has been with X-Ray Associates since 2004.
Yin-Hui Siow, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Siow received his M.D. and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Toronto, and is dual-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. His interests lie in Nuclear Medicine, Cardiovascular Imaging, and Ultrasound. Dr. Siow has been with X-Ray Associates since 1999.
Marianne Stroz, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. M. Stroz MD, FRCPC received her M.D. from Queen's University and completed her radiology residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto. She then completed additional training in Abdominal Imaging at the University of Toronto with the Joint Department of Medical Imaging.

Lisa M.F. Thain, AB, MD, FRCP(C), DABR
Dr. Thain received her M.D. from the University of Toronto and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto and University of Western Ontario. She then completed additional Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Body MRI at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Her interests lie in MSK Imaging, Body MRI and Cardiovascular Imaging. Dr. Thain has been with X-Ray Associates since 2003.
Brian Yeung, H. BSc., MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Yeung received his M.D. from Queen's University and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Toronto. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Toronto, and is dual-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. His area of interest lies in Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Yeung has been with X-Ray Associates since 2008.
Peter Zia, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Zia received his M.D. from the University of Toronto and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at McMaster University. He then completed additional Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Imaging. Dr. Zia has been with X-Ray Associates since 2008.
